1. Who We Are
South Christian Youth Football Association, a subsidiary of the South Christian High School Foundation, operates sailoryouthfootball.com under the name Sailor Youth Football (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through our public website and related website inquiries.
The website provides program information for parents, guardians, adult volunteers, sponsors, and community members. Separate notices and consent forms may apply to player registration, participation, medical information, payments, and team communications.
The Association’s President serves as its Chief Executive Officer under the Association’s By-Laws and is the designated contact for privacy questions.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide
When you contact us, we collect the information you submit, such as your name, email address, optional contact details, and message. Sponsorship inquiries may also include a business name and information about proposed support.
Please do not submit a child’s medical history, birth certificate, payment-card details, passwords, or other sensitive information through the general website contact form. Use the designated registration or program process for information required for participation.
Technical information
This website is hosted by GoDaddy. GoDaddy and other service providers we use to operate the website may automatically process technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, access times, and security-related activity as part of normal website hosting and delivery. For more information about GoDaddy’s data practices, see the GoDaddy Privacy Policy.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Respond to questions and requests.
- Communicate about program information and sponsorship inquiries.
- Operate, maintain, and protect the website.

- Meet applicable legal obligations.
We do not use website contact information for marketing, mailing lists, or advertising purposes.
4. Registration and Team Communications
Our website links to TeamSnap for player registration and team access. When you use TeamSnap, that platform’s privacy notice and terms govern its handling of your information. For details, see the TeamSnap Privacy Policy.
Information submitted through registration may be available to authorized program administrators for the purpose of managing player participation, communications, and program operations. Our responsibilities for information we receive or control are not transferred to a service provider merely because its platform is used.
We retain registration-related information for as long as necessary to administer the program and meet applicable legal obligations, and we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it when it is no longer needed.
5. When We Share Information
We may share relevant information:
- With authorized Association personnel and volunteers who need it to address your request or perform approved program duties.
- With service providers that host the website, process communications, provide security, or perform other services on our behalf.
- When required by law or reasonably necessary to protect people, investigate misuse, or establish or defend legal rights.
- At your direction or with appropriate permission.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with sponsors or third parties for targeted advertising or cross-site tracking purposes. A sponsor’s presence on our website does not give that sponsor access to information submitted through our contact form.
6. Cookies and Your Choices
Our website hosting provider may use cookies or similar technologies for website operation, security, and performance. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse new cookies, delete existing cookies, or be notified when a cookie is set. Restricting cookies may affect some website functions.
Cookie choices on our website do not control information collection on external websites you choose to visit.
7. Children’s Information
Parents and guardians should submit program inquiries and complete registration on behalf of their children. Children under 13 should not submit personal information through the public website contact form.
If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information directly through this website, please contact the President using the contact form below. We will investigate and take appropriate steps to remove the information or handle it through a lawful parental-consent process, as applicable.
Information about a child submitted by a parent or guardian is handled through the applicable program registration and consent procedures.
8. Photographs and Videos
Our website may display photographs and videos of program activities. We obtain appropriate permission from parents or guardians before publishing identifiable images of minors on our website or official program channels.
Parents and guardians may contact the President to ask about an image or request its removal from channels we control. Please use the contact form and identify the page and image without sending unnecessary sensitive information.
We will review the request and any applicable permissions and respond promptly. Removal from our website cannot guarantee removal of copies previously downloaded, shared by others, or retained by search engines.
9. Retention and Security
We retain website inquiry and sponsorship communications for as long as necessary to respond to requests and maintain program records, generally no longer than three years unless a longer period is required by law or ongoing program need. We take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No website, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Access, Correction, and Other Requests
Use the contact form to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you or a child for whom you are the parent or legal guardian.
We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. We may retain information where required or permitted by applicable law, and we will explain relevant limitations.
Additional privacy rights may apply depending on your location and the laws applicable to the Association. We will respond to requests as required by applicable law.
Please do not send identification documents or sensitive records through the general contact form unless an appropriate process has been arranged.
