We teach and reinforce Hawk Tackling from 3rd grade through senior year, and dedicate part of nearly every practice to safe technique.
Yes. Athletic trainers are present at all 3rd–6th grade home games, and one or more trainers attend both home and away games for 7th and 8th grade teams.
Helmets must be certified and white (facemask color optional). A mouth guard attached to the helmet is mandatory whenever a player is wearing a helmet.
No. Football cleats must have no metal components and no metal/screw-in cleats.
Assistant coaches complete online concussion awareness training, and the program follows a conservative approach summarized as “When in doubt, sit them out.”
